What is the minimum number of hours I can engage?

Project-based engagements have a minimum of 20 hours per month. Part-time starts at 80 hours per month. Full-time is 160 hours per month. We do not do ad hoc hourly bookings.

Is there a lock-in contract?

We ask for a three-month initial commitment. This is enough time to onboard your team member properly and see real output from the engagement. After the initial term, the agreement moves to a rolling 30-day notice period. You can scale up, scale down, or exit with 30 days written notice.

What are your payment terms?

Full-time and part-time engagements are invoiced monthly in advance. Project-based engagements are invoiced monthly in arrears based on hours logged. Payment is due within 14 days by EFT to our Australian bank account. Invoices are in AUD. GST at 10% is added to all invoices for Australian clients.

Are rates reviewed over time?

Rates are reviewed annually, typically in January. We provide at least 60 days written notice before any rate adjustment takes effect. Rate changes reflect genuine movements in local employment costs or sustained currency shifts. We do not apply arbitrary price increases. Clients on three-month commitments are protected at their contracted rate for the duration of that term.

Can I add more staff once I get started?

Yes. You can add team members at any time. Each additional hire follows the same recruitment, vetting, and onboarding process. Typical time from brief to start date is two to four weeks for most roles. Clients with five or more concurrent placements can speak to their account manager about volume pricing.

What currency are invoices issued in?

Accepted Answer

All invoices are in Australian dollars (AUD). You pay in AUD by EFT to our Australian bank account. Human Nexus manages all foreign currency exposure. You have no exposure to AUD/USD or AUD/PKR or AUD/PHP movements.

Question 7

Does GST apply to offshore staffing?

Accepted Answer

Human Nexus Pty Ltd (ABN 62 680 664 126) is registered for GST. GST at 10% applies to all invoices issued to Australian clients. All rates shown on this page are GST-exclusive. Your tax invoice will show the GST component as a separate line item and is fully creditable if you are GST-registered.

Question 8

How do I upgrade a team member to a more senior tier?

Speak to your Australian account manager. We will assess whether the individual is ready for a senior scope, or whether you need a new recruit at the higher tier. If you are promoting an existing team member into a broader role, we discuss whether the rate adjustment is warranted based on demonstrated output. Upgrades are subject to 30 days notice and are formalised in a written variation to your service agreement.

What happens if my team member does not work out?

Within the first 90 days, we replace the team member at no additional recruitment cost under our 90-day replacement guarantee. After 90 days, if performance issues arise, we work with you on a performance management process before recommending replacement. If you choose to end the placement, the standard 30-day notice period applies and we can begin a new search in parallel.

Can I choose which location my team member sits in?

Yes. When you brief us on the role, you can specify Pakistan (Lahore or Islamabad) or the Philippines (Makati), or ask us to source from both and shortlist the best candidates across both pools. The rate tables are separate by location, so your choice does affect the rate.
