Worker Screening applies to workers with direct contact with NDIS participants. Offshore administration, billing, and plan management support staff have no direct participant contact. Worker Screening is NOT REQUIRED for these roles. If a specific role involves participant risk, contact the NDIS Commission or your state screening unit.
Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) APP 8
Sharing participant data offshore triggers cross-border disclosure obligations under APP 8. Under s.16C, the disclosing entity remains liable for any breach by the offshore recipient. Human Nexus executes a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) before any participant data is shared. Staff work from managed offices only. Access is role-limited.
